Choose the right Steam product

For a wallet request, first establish whether your customer needs a redeemable wallet code or an account-based top-up. Steam Wallet codes in the gift-card catalog have their own denomination and regional terms. The Steam top-up service instead asks for the details required by its account-based flow. Do not treat a code and a direct top-up as interchangeable products.

A customer asking for a specific game may be better served by a Steam gift or a compatible game key. Credit is not a game license, and buying a key does not add wallet funds. Confirm what the customer wants to receive before comparing prices.

Check region and account details

Match the product description to the recipient’s account country and wallet currency. Follow the restrictions shown for that individual offer and current Steam rules. A country label on one offer is not evidence that all currencies or regions are supported. Never promise worldwide compatibility based on the Steam name alone.

After ordering, track the status in your account. Processing is not the same as delivery; rely on the recorded result before telling your customer the funds have arrived. If an order has a problem, use its support conversation rather than placing a duplicate order while the first is unresolved.

Build a clear resale offer

Describe your product as wallet credit, a wallet code or a game gift, depending on what you actually sell. Include the region, currency and recipient requirements. Compare your quoted purchase total with your intended selling price and selling-channel fees: a markup alone does not establish net profit. Use a small eligible order to understand the flow before offering it at scale.
